Research Linkages

The generation of tangible research outcomes and outputs (for example, reports, guidelines, toolkits, checklists, databases, models etc.) at the local level where the majority of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) is implemented; can value add meaningfully to the growing body of empirical social and technical evidence that underpins the adoption of WSUD while promoting the benefits thereabouts.
Further, it provides an opportunity for the promotion of practitioner’s and their council’s efforts and findings amongst their peers, while generating cross sectoral linkages (Government, Research Institutions and Industry) that help to bridge the gap between science and policy.
