Botany Bay Water Quality Improvement Plan Program has developed the following resources:

• WSUD Adoption Strategy for the Botany Bay Catchment Report;
• Incorporating Appropriate Stormwater Management/WSUD Requirements in Local Environment Plans (LEPs)

Blacktown City Council have incorporated an amendment (Part R) to their 2006 Development Control Plan to incorporate provisions for water sensitive urban design and integrated water cycle management. 

City of Sydney’s Water and Our City: A Framework for Total Water Cycle Management Policy is an internal document that includes a Total Water Cycle Management methodology to facilitate the development of catchment action plans.

Parramatta City Council publicly exhibited for comment (until May 2010) their draft Local Environment Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plan (DCP).  The majority of WSUD provisions are incorporated within the draft DCP Development Provisions, namely Section 3.3.6  Water Sensitive Urban Design.  Following exhibition, proposed amendments have been made and will be submitted to Council in due course.

Strathfield Council’s Draft Part N Development Control Plan includes amendments that relate to new objectives and controls to incorporate Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) within development in the Strathfield Local Government Area.
