GIS Register

The GIS Register is an opportunity to raise your own individual profile and that of your councils by referencing your completed projects.
The vision for the register is to showcase individual systems and the uptake of WSUD infrastructure by councils, while encouraging the sharing of information between councils, research institutions and industry.
The Register records Traditional, WSUD and Water Quality Monitoring sites (historical and current) installed by Sydney Metropolitan councils and can be accessed via: http://61.8.17.129/Website/smcmawsud/viewer.htm
As the onus is on individual councils to provide the information, the register does not necessarily reference all infrastructure or water quality monitoring sites for the region.
If you would like to reference your council’s information, please provide as per the GIS Data Template. Click Here to download a document that may help you to secure assistance from your GIS Officers within your council.
The option also exists for councils to include a link to a Case Study about the project’s development and delivery. Again, please provide in the appropriate format using the GIS Case Study template.
An alternative option may be to request that upon future completion of projects, consultants complete the Template on council’s behalf. In this instance, consultant’s may be referenced within the document, but council officer contact details only should be included. Similarly, you may wish to ask consultants to do so for already completed projects.
