The WSUD in Sydney Program invites you to attend Stormwater Harvesting  Training.

Presented by Prof. Ana Deletic and Dr. David McCarthy from Monash University and the Water Sensitive Cities CRC. This one day training course is ideally suited to environmental planners, designers and engineers from government or commercial organisations.

This training course will introduce you to the concepts needed to design an effective stormwater harvesting project.  You will learn about the latest research in stormwater treatment technologies and the costs involved (both life cycle and total community costs).  The training will also cover the appropriate use of harvested stormwater and evaluate the risk of  pollutants.  There will be an emphasis on the issue of scale (lot, street and precinct) in the design of stormwater harvesting. The training will include a practical design exercise to develop stormwater harvesting systems for a greenfield and retrofit situation.

Participants will gain an understanding of how to plan for and apply technologies for stormwater collection, treatment and storage.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
